The Process
Every production is different and comes with its unique challenges. But I follow a standard operating procedure to ensure that it stays on track and has the highest quality possible. Below arre the seven common steps every production has.

This is a inital consultation where we discuss your idea and needs for the production. I come prepared with a set of questions which go straight to the heart of the story or idea.

Once we have an idea of where the story may take us, I do my own research based on our conversations. Storytelling is a journey and how we share it with our target audience is important.

Based on both our conversations and my own research, I'll come up with idea or develop the idea you've brought to the table. During this phase we'll put together a solid plan for the story this production will be focusing on. At this stage I will be able to provide an estimate for the cost of the production as well as an early timeline for project completion.

All great media content is thoroughly planned out. It's the most important element of making sure the production goes smoothly. This stage includes scripting, scouting locations, and creating a production schedule.

This is perhaps the most fun part of the production. We get the cameras out and make your vision a reality.

This stage is the most time consuming part of the process. I'll edit together the pieces we shot into a full coherant piece. I work on the sound, do the color, and add any digital elements such as text and graphics. We'll go through a revision process where I'll upload private drafts for you to see how its coming along and request changes.

Once you have approved the final version, I'll send you all the files you need. Whether it's compressed versions for the web or broadcast ready exports. That's a wrap!
